Short but sweet review for Mass Graves / Dead Body Collection – They Will Return from Steven Antoni

[Dead Body Collection & Mass Graves - “They Will Return” split Cd-r Sweet Solitude] ‘They will return’ finds Mass Graves and Dead Body Collection contributing one close to thirty minute track each of brutal static wall. Dead Body Collection begins with ‘Il Fantasma Di Anna Never’ a vortex of crunching static with an under layer of rumbling bass that remains in constant motion without any deviating qualities to its wall. Much like what you could expect from this project the wall is in strict unmoving fashion, unmastered and purely analog sounds for that signature sound. On the other hand Mass Graves offers textures of airy static mimicking something like a raging waterfall or a gathering wind storm paralleling its jagged crunching static form in a hypnotic loop of noise. The pace is so incredible and its repetitive whirling texture quickly releases your attention and nests in your subconsciousness. Released under the HNW imprint Sweet Solitude, the label responsible for the Infinity Series and various other amazing releases, it comes in a DVD case with pro printed covers and some inserts with information on the release and it’s tracks. This release comes highly recommended for fans of extreme blasting style harsh noise wall.
